1.About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Pathly AI (“Pathly”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Pathly, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pathly. Pathly is not available to children under 13.

If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), please review these Terms with a parent or guardian. Depending on where you live, they may need to agree to them on your behalf.

3.Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password secure and don't share your account.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.

4.Guidance, not guarantees

Pathly provides guidance, planning tools and coaching to help you explore options and follow through. It does not promise any outcome. We do not guarantee admission to any school or program, employment, income, or any financial result.

Pathly is not a substitute for professional advice. It is not a licensed career counselor, financial advisor, lawyer, doctor or mental health service.

If you're struggling or feel unsafe, please reach out to someone you trust or to local emergency services. In the US, you can call or text 988. In France, you can call 3114.

5.AI features

Pathly uses AI to generate suggestions, drafts, plans and summaries. AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Always verify important information, such as deadlines, admission requirements, costs or salaries, with official sources (for example, school websites, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, O*NET, ONISEP or Parcoursup).

You are responsible for the decisions you make and for anything you choose to send or submit. Pathly doesn't send emails, submit applications or contact anyone on its own; any action outside Pathly always needs your confirmation.

Avoid sharing sensitive information the coach doesn't need, such as passwords, financial details or health information.

6.Your content

You own what you create in Pathly, including your answers, goals, messages and documents. You give us a limited permission to store and process that content only to provide and improve the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You can export or delete your content at any time from Settings.

7.Acceptable use

When using Pathly, you agree not to:

  • Break the law or help anyone else do so.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate or harm other people.
  • Use Pathly to create content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise harmful.
  • Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or interfere with Pathly's security or operation.
  • Scrape, copy or resell the service, or get around usage limits.

8.Plans and subscriptions

Pathly offers a Free plan and three paid plans (Plus, Pro and Elite), billed monthly or yearly. The price, billing period and what each plan includes are shown before you subscribe, and you are never charged without explicitly choosing a paid plan. Each plan includes usage limits, for example on AI actions per day.

Payments are processed by Whop. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the Plan & billing page: you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. Switching plans starts the new plan right away and ends the previous one; unused time on the previous plan is not prorated.

If you think you were charged in error, contact us (see Contact) and we will look into it promptly.

9.Ending your account

You can stop using Pathly and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or when required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.

10.Disclaimers and liability

Pathly is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, Pathly is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information or suggestions from the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Pathly evolves. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Pathly after that, the updated Terms apply.

12.Governing law

Governing law and dispute resolution: [to be determined with legal counsel before launch].

13.Contact

Questions about these Terms: [contact email to be added before launch].
